Compare TurnMyRental with other cleaning tools
TurnMyRental reads your booking calendar, texts your own cleaner about every turnover, and texts you when the place is ready for the next guest. It is built for hosts who already have a cleaner. Each page below sets us side by side with another tool, with a source for every fact about it, and says plainly where that tool is the better choice.
Why hosts find TurnMyRental easier
- You keep your own cleaner. We are built for hosts who already have a cleaner they trust. There is no marketplace and no commission on your cleaner.
- Your cleaner just answers a text. Each job arrives as a plain text with the date, the hours and the pay if you set it, and your cleaner replies YES or NO. There is no app to install, no account and no password, and the checklist opens in their phone's browser.
- A quiet cleaner does not leave you guessing. If your cleaner says no, we ask your backup cleaner, if you have added one. If your cleaner does not answer, we ask once more after 4 hours, or after 45 minutes when the next guest arrives the same day and the clean is less than a day away, and then ask your backup. If nobody takes the turnover, we warn you so you can step in.
- You hear how it is going by text. We text you when your cleaner accepts, arrives and finishes, and warn you when nobody has taken a turnover or nobody has started it, once you add your mobile number.
- You start with what you already have. Paste the calendar link from your listing, then add your cleaner by name and send them the invite link. Where to find your calendar link has the steps for each platform.
- A flat monthly price for your number of properties. Plans run from $7 a month for 1 property to $97 for up to 25, billed monthly, and every plan includes every feature. The free trial needs no card to start.

Other tools worth a look
We have not compared these in full, but each may suit some hosts better than we do.
- Hospitable. As of October 2026, Hospitable's help center says its Essentials plan costs nothing, with no charge per property, and includes automated cleaning tasks for turnovers. Its own pages disagree on whether that free plan texts your cleaners: its free plan page says it tells them about jobs by SMS or email, and its help center lists SMS notifications among the features only on paid plans. If you already use Hospitable, try its free cleaning tools first.1,2,3
- Properly. Properly says every task needs photo proof, reads Airbnb and more than 50 other platforms by iCal, and can help you find local service providers. Its Standard plan is $12.99 per property a month, as of October 2026, with a 30-day free trial and apps for the web, iOS and Android.4,5
